 My future career goals include working in the field of sustainable tourism management, internationally, among professionals who have the same perspectives and interests that I do. These perspectives include creating and implementing sustainable development goals into tourism destinations and organizations to help protect the natural environment, cultures and community relationships as well as making sure it is economically viable.

  • Assisted with coral nursery maintenance such as the hanging of new corals and cleaning of coral trees.

  • Researched the transparency of standards of organizations that held either a GSTC-recognized or GSTC-approved status.

  • Gained insight into the working relationships of the GSTC and became familiarized of the difference between GSTC-recognized and GSTC-approved organizations.
